In my experience that usualy results in quickly being overwhelmed once you start defending the Inquisitor. Best if you have some means of mass teleportation of course, hurling your fastest knight (in power armor for the extra maneuverability if possible) ahead at top speed even faster than your termies, and then teleport everyone to the top.Īfter that, some enemies will spawn at the gate when the Inquisitor starts channeling and you'll need to deal with them, but she should hopefully be (mostly) done before the earlier spawns from closer to where you started catch up. They won't ever stop anyway, just outrun them to the top - at best they ought to get one round of shots off at your back, during a round where they spend 2 AP to move and 1 to shoot, then you spend 3 AP on your next turn to rush ahead again and leave them in the dust because they can't catch up anymore. Rush, rush, rush up to the gate, don't even bother trying to destroy everything coming out of the warp portals.
